About ME

With 14 years of experience in product and UX design across various industries, I bring a wealth of knowledge from both consulting and in-house design teams.

My approach is pragmatic and execution-oriented, combining my analytical mindset with my creative thinking to find innovative solutions.

My track record includes reimagining experiences for Fortune 500 companies, including Dell, Metlife, New Holland, and Thomson Reuters.

I've also successfully launched new products with startups and mid-size companies and implemented process and tooling improvements that resulted in significant time savings and higher-quality work.

How I Lead

I constantly seek new opportunities to learn and grow and am unafraid to take on new challenges. As a leader, I strive to develop the same can-do spirit in my teams while creating a collaborative and supportive culture.

I Care – A Lot.

Everyone has a unique drive and goals, so I take the time to get to know each teammate and build a rapport. That way, I can connect them with growth opportunities and provide proper support. There’s nothing more thrilling than seeing a designer come into their own.

Bias For Execution

As a leader, it’s my job to set the pace and keep momentum. I prioritize tangible, visible progress toward business goals over black box work. For design to keep a seat at the table, we must maintain high performance & deliver meaningful solutions.

Frequent, Direct Feedback

When it comes from a place of care, direct feedback improves teams and relationships while elevating craft and leading to faster career growth.

Path Clearing

I anticipate obstacles and work to clear complexity and cut through ambiguity so the team can execute to the best of their talents. There’s nothing more demoralizing than constantly taking two steps forward and one step back.

Leave Room for Autonomy

My default is each designer is the owner of their project. I take the time to educate them about the high-level goals of a project and then get out of the way.

Show, Don’t Tell

Designers have the superpower of being able to show the future and make the complex simple by visualizing it. I push the team to lean into that power to influence outcomes.
